The Team will be meeting at 6:30 pm, on Thursday, March 5 in the Gentry Building at the James E Ward Ag Center. Dr. Travis Whitlow is hosting the WC DART Training. The Training Topic is Barn Fires and Eqine First Aid and Safety. This training topic is something we can use out in the field as well as at home. Bring along a friend to this informative training class!

The WCDART Team will be celebrating 8 years of serving Wilson Co. at Chilis on Hartmann Drive in Lebanon, TN on February 8., 2015. DartTales at 4:30 Dinner Meeting at 5:00pm. WC DART Team is looking forward to the New Year of DART activity in 2015! The first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 8th at 6:30 pm in the Gentry Building at the James E Ward Ag Center. Bring a long a friend as we are looking forward to recruiting new volunteers as well as welcoming the DART Team back for our 8th year of service for Wilson County! See you there!

Today WC DART will be out in the Wilson Co. Community passing out Straw Bales for pet bedding sponcered by Country K 9 Rescue/Resort! There are 2 Stations:  Dr Perry Harmon’s office and the Watertown Ballpark, straw can be picked up at these locations. Volunteers will be delivering straw throughout Wilson Co. As well. Thank you to all who are participating in this wonderful event!  Keep Rover in mind, you know, the dog you pass by everyday, who is outdoors rain or shine- make Rover’s Christmas a little bit warmer, you may save a life! Thank you to Country K 9 for providing the straw and hosting this event!

Dirty Santa Gift Exchange…If you’d like to participate in the Gift Exchange, bring along a gift ($10 limit). It’s called Dirty Santa because you can steal others gifts!

Wheelwright , Ky. Christmas Donation…..bring along your donations for the residents of Wheelwright Ky. for Laura Holcomb to collect and deliver with her Church from The WC Dart Team.   The coal mining community is in need of items to keep them warm, blankets, socks,gloves, sweaters and gently used coats. They are also in need of basic necessities, shampoo lice shampoo, soap,toilet paper,etc.  Canned goods, bottled water, non perishable foods, etc.   the WCDART Team has participated in this Christmas donation for the last few years through Lora’s Church. Thank you to all who make this donation possible!

The WC DART Team will be meeting on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 6:30pm in the Gentry Building at the James E Ward Ag Center for a Meet and Greet with the new volunteers we met at the Wilson Co Fair. C’mon out and share your Dart Tales with the new recruits!

The WC DART Team will be meeting Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 6:30pm at the W.H. Neal Building for the finishing touches on the WC Fair! The Team will be signing up for the Demonstration and the WC DART Booth! Volunteers are needed for both the Demonstration which is Thursday August 21, 2014 in The All About Dogs Tent from 7-9 pm! The whole team is encouraged to participate!

The WC DART Team will have a booth at the Wilson Co Fair from Wednesday 8/20/14 through Saturday 8/21/14. Help is needed :

Wednesday 8/20/14  Set Up  in the All About Dogs Tent- starting at 2:30pm.  Wednesday 8/20/14  WC DART Booth 5-9pm.                                                   Thursday 8/21/14 WC DART Demonstration 7-9pm.                                          Thursday 8/21/14. WC DART Booth 5-9 pm.                                                         Friday 8/22/14. WC DART Booth 5-9pm.                                                             Saturday 8/23/14 WC DART Booth 12noon- 4:30.                                              Saturday 8/23/14 WC DART Booth 4:30 pm – close.                                                  Saturday 8/23/14 WC DART Booth Take Down,  9pm

Ideally 2-3 people should tend the WC DART Booth for each shift, to recruit new volunteers and get WC DART’s name out in the community.

The WC DART Team will be meeting on Thursday July 17, 2014 in the Gentry Building at the James E Ward Ag Center. The Team will be putting together the Demonstration for the WC Fair along with Tote Bags and Booth Display. You can sign up for a shift at the WC DART Booth.

The Wilson Co Fair runs from August 15 through the 23rd. WC DART will have a booth in the All About Dogs Tent from August 20th -23rd. The WC DART Team will be doing a demonstration on Thursday evening, August 21st from 7-9pm, the whole WC DART Team is encouraged to participate! Adrienne Molteni is coordinating the Demonstration, once again! Thank you for doing an outstanding job at last years fair, we look forward to the 2014 Fair Demonstration!!!

Bring your colorful, clean feed bags to the meeting along with some creative ideas for the booth and demo! See you Thursday 7/17/14!

Thursday June 12 at 6:30 pm the WC DART Team will be having a Training Meeting at the James E Ward Ag. Center. The Training Topic is Compass Navigation and Identifying Poisonous Plants and Snakes. Thank you Adrienne Molteni for arranging this Training session for WC DART! Bring along your compass and note pad and a friend! This will be a fun and very informative class!
